A daughter and a son.
That is what I have. How lucky am I? I am so blessed.
They are my everything, my reason for living, my reason for making certain decisions, my reason for being uncomfortable and accepting change. They make me smile, they make me learn more and do better.
Learning and striving to do better has always been a part of me and it will be forever - I am a teacher after all. And so when I got pregnant with each of my children (and after a lot of research), I made the decision to welcome them into the world without any kind of medication whatsoever. They each came into the world (four years apart) free from any chemicals. I'm proud of myself for giving birth twice this way and for giving my babies that gift.
Eating healthy, staying healthy, and living an overall wellness life was also important for me to do for myself because children learn by watching. Teaching by example is easier than by only telling them to do something when you're not doing it yourself.

Sophia and Nicholas also inspire me. They give me strength. They teach me new things every day. They get me out of my comfort zone. Believe it or not, I'm an introvert. I love my alone time - I live for it. But they make sure to push me to of things that are different, difficult, scary, or uncomfortable and I'm thankful for that.
My goal in life is to make they aren't rushed from being children, that they are safe, that they are happy, that they live a healthy lifestyle, that they have amazing experiences, that they learn different skills, and learn different languages. I want them to travel the world and see how others live. I want them to appreciate their lives and be kind to others. I want them to run around on the grass barefoot. I want them to learn that the best foods are grown, not made in factories. I want them to work to live, not live to work.

My parents did so much for me. Everything I am today is because of them and the experiences that they provided me with. They sacrificed their lives so that I can be able to live this life and make all the decisions I make today. And I couldn't be more thankful and more happier.
Now it's my turn to do the same for my own children. And I couldn't be happier.
