I'm so happy that I can finally share this news with you! We are moving to Greece in last than two weeks and we couldn't be more excited. The countdown is on!

Here I move again. This will be country number three for me. I was born and lived in Brazil for nine years, grew up and lived in the United States for twenty-six years, and will hopefully live the rest of my life in Greece. Not too shabby, if you ask me!
As you all know, Yianni is Greek and we have been vacationing in Greece for over a decade. If we didn't go to another country for vacation, we always went to Greece. It's the most beautiful place and it definitely helps when you have a home to vacation in.
Whenever we travel to Greece, we stay in our tiny kiwi farm house. And that's where we will be when we first move there. We also have a house in the city (that we are currently renovating) and that's where we will eventually move into before Sophia begins school in September.
One way or another this move is something Yianni and I have been planning for quite some time now. Years even. We have made different decisions throughout the years to help us be able to move to Greece and live the life we dream of.
This wasn't an easy decision to make and it took a long time for me to rap my mind around it (if you read my previous post, you know I don't do well with change!). Ultimately, after many conversations, PROs and CONs lists, and a lot of prayer, we decided that moving to Greece is the best decision for our family. Thankfully, we won't be there alone. We have aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whom we love dearly to help us not feel lonely. Not to mention that our parents and siblings will come visit us whenever possible.
If you have visited Greece before you know the life they have there. They live a stress free, safe, wellness life that I want so badly. Living there will give our family the opportunity to possibly grow our own food, learn to live off the land, learn new skills, live in a smaller city (something I have always wanted), learn more about the Greek culture and language, have more opportunities to travel to other European countries, spend more time with our children (since we will be working from home), and so much more. Also, the weather there is warmer which means we'll be able to enjoy the outdoors for many more months.
I must say, dreams do come true!
So come along with us!! It's a big year for us and there are so many exciting things I'll be sharing with you!
**Fun fact: My mom was the same age I am now when she moved to the United States with my dad, my brother and I!
